Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde Appoints Oluwatomiwa Omolewa as New Park Management System Chairman

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has finally announced the appointment of Mr Oluwatomiwa Omolewa as new Chairman for Park Management System (PMS) in the state, in replace of Mr Mukaila Lamidi A.k.a Auxiliary.

Governor Seyi Makinde announced the appointment on Sunday through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Sulaimon Olanrewaju.

He has however, announced the appointment of Omolewa who had earlier served as Secretary of the PMS.

The governor also named Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal as the secretary of the PMS.

He said that the appointment was part of the reorganization of the PMS embarked upon by the state government.

“Oyo State Government has announced Alhaji Oluwatomiwa Omolewa, former Park Management System (PMS) Secretary, as the new Chairman.
Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe Lawal is to serve as the secretary”.

Jibola Odetola, the son of popular Nigerian Fuji musician Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, has made his family proud by graduating as the best student from Harlan Community Academy, a high school in the United States.

The young achiever took to his Instagram account on Friday to share pictures from his graduation ceremony, expressing his gratitude and excitement for accomplishing his mission as the valedictorian.

Toke Makinwa Reveals How Her Husband Impregnated His Ex Girlfriend

Media personality Toke Makinwa has disclosed how she felt after discovering her estranged husband, Maje Ayida, impregnated his ex-girlfriend.

Toke Makinwa who filed for a divorce from her ex-husband, Maje Ayida in 2016 on grounds of committing adultery disclosed that she only got to know the ex-girlfriend of her husband was already in its ninth month.

Toke Makinwa made this disclosure during an interview in the latest episode of her YouTube vlog series, Toke Moments.

She disclosed that despite being tortured emotionally by the incident, the only solace she found was her work. Toke mentioned how she soaked her head in her work after the incident in order to forget her problems.

“I think that my job was the only thing that I was sure of in my life. Every other thing that was familiar has failed. The world that I had built had crumbled. And the only thing I was sure of was my job.

“I remember walking into the [radio] studio, and like 7 a.m., the World News goes on. And there is a call from the owner of the radio station, and he is like, “Everyone is talking about you; I don’t want to get into it, but people are thinking you would literally fall apart. I think you need to go home.”

She said she could cope with work because she learned earlier “to leave her feelings at the door and then pick them up when you are on your way home. So, once you walk into the studio, it’s not about you. It’s about the millions of people who are trying to make their ways work; they are the ones who are tuning in expecting to get entertained, informed, and on top of what is going in the world.” she said.

Updates From The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki (TOPS) - THEATER DAY (See Photos)

The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki which acronyms goes TOPS is back with another edition of her yearly entertainment show for their THEATER DAY.

Organized by the office of the school Social Director, Comrade Oketola Samuel Ayomide, in conjunction with the school Students Union Government (SUG) 2023 of the great citadel of knowledge led by the SUG President, Comrade Ibrahim Quwam Olawale, this year’s edition was held at the 500 sitting capacity building of the school, on the 31st May, 2023 at 12noon.

The school hall which has the capacity of 500 people as the venue for the THEATER DAY is undoubtedly totally sold out before the event and over crowded during the event.

The event was full of entertainment for the students as it comprises of live performance from great dancers and musicians both in the school and from outside the school, drama, comedy, games, magic performance, and lots more but just few to mention.

The THEATER DAY definitely brings all students of The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic Saki (TOPS) to a halt, and it is clear that 2023 just like every other year in recent memory and history of the school, is the year of the school's Students Union Government (SUG) as they gives back to their students.

The Event was on track and set standards, break existing records, and give the students the entertainment they truly crave for and deserve.

Hon Shina Peller Urges Muslims On Eid-el-fitri to Improve On Their Good Deeds After Ramadan

A member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Honourable Shina Peller, has charged Muslim brothers and sisters to improve on all the good deeds carried out during Ramadan period, and pray for Nigeria to progress

Honourable Peller, who is the Ayedero of Yorubaland, stated this on Friday in his goodwill message to Muslims on the occasion of 2023 Eid-ul-fitri.

The Ayedero of Yorubaland recalled that while in Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, he prayed fervently for peace to reign in Nigeria and for the country to progress beyond human imagination.

He therefore cautioned Nigerians to desist from cursing their leaders, but to pray for them.

He added that doing so well have direct or indirect impact on them, the governed.

Also, Honourable Peller cautioned those who are not pleased with the outcome of the just concluded general election against taking law into their hand through violence, but advised them to challenge it peacefully in court, reminding all that it is God who gives power to whoever he so wishes.

Moreover, Ayedero enjoined all to spread love, preach peace and embrace unity in the overall interest of the country and to achieve a better Nigeria that all will be proud of.

The statement read in full: “As we witness another occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I extend my best wishes and greetings to fellow Muslim brothers and sisters both at home and in the diaspora.

“Indeed, the last one month has been a soul-purifying one for some of us. Days and nights, we devoted our mind, time, energy and resources to praying, seeking God’s forgiveness, embracing and promoting good deeds in different ways.

“While in Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, I prayed fervently for Nigeria; for peace to reign in our land and for our country to progress beyond our imagination.

“However, now that Ramadan is over, we must make all our supplications to Allah during the Holy Month count by not withdrawing from our good deeds, but improving on them, where necessary.

“Also, as Muslims, we shouldn’t forget that it is God that gives power to whom he so wishes. Some of us may not be pleased with the outcome of the just concluded general election. However, we shouldn’t take law into our hands through violence; rather we should challenge it in a peaceful manner legitimately in court. And whatever happens in the end, we should accept it as God’s will and move on. After all, what will be, will be.

“Moreover, we must restrict the temptation of cursing our leaders as doing so will have direct or indirect impacts on us, the governed. Rather, we should pray for God to purify their heart and guide them aright.

“Importantly, as we celebrate this year Eid-al Fitri, let us spread love, not hatred; let us preach peace, not violence; let us embrace our unity in diversity and treat others the best way we would like to be treated.

“Peaceful coexistence, irrespective of our religious, ethnic or political differences, should be our watchword if truly we want a Nigeria of our dream to be a reality. There can never be progress where there is no peace.

“Once again, I wish everyone of us a very pleasant Salah celebration and pray that we witness many more on earth. Amen.”

Struggling Student Receives ₦500,000 From Nigerian Celebrity, Don Jazzy as Virtual Hug

Popular Nigerian celebrity and music producer Don Jazzy has bestowed a generous gift upon a struggling student who reached out to him about their school struggles.

The student had sent a message to the boss of Mavin Records, expressing how difficult school had become and how they were feeling overwhelmed with the challenges they were facing. The unidentified student had conveyed that they were currently at their breaking point and in need of a “big hug” from Don Jazzy.

They wrote, “Currently going through it at school. I’m almost at my breaking point with literally everything. I need a big hug.”

In response, Don Jazzy expressed his sympathy and commiserated with the student. He then asked if a sum of ₦500,000 would be sufficient as a virtual “hug” from him.

He is found of male child molestation and toying with boys pen*s in Eruwa, An on air personality, Ezekiel Babatunde Olaniyan, also known as Mc Easy says.

Ezekiel Mc Easy, who is popularly known in Eruwa, a local government area of Oyo State, for his weekly radio program named AYEGBESO on Akuko Gagara Radio, during his program on 22nd February 2023 unveiled an incident where he says there is a man in his hometown (Eruwa), who happens to be a trainer on a particular work/sport, whereby many parents do allow their children to go and learn from him, but it turns out to be child molesting instead of training.

According to Mc Easy, the aforementioned man whose name was not disclosed on the program, has long time being found of children molestation, whereby he do toys with the boys pen*s both publicly and privately during and after their trainings from years ago, and do happens till date.

Mc Easy on the program AYEGBESO also claims that him personally has once been molested by this same man some years ago, and he also did same with some of his younger ones.

Popular Media Entrepreneur, Mo Abudu Appointed into Harvard Business School Executive Fellows Program

Media entrepreneur Mo Abudu, on Saturday on Instagram, announced that she’s just accepted an appointment from Harvard Business School (HBS) as an Executive Fellow. “I started my fellowship yesterday, September 30th,” she wrote in the post.

Last year, Mo Abudu joined a long list of CEOs, including Warren Buffet and Elon Musk, whose strategies and decisions have been examined as case studies at Harvard Business School, as the institution included a case study of EbonyLife Media as part of their curriculum for first-year MBA students.

The Executive Fellows Program leverages the expertise of outstanding practitioners, including alumni, each of whom partners with HBS faculty members to bring their experience in business into the MBA program and the School.

According to HBS,

The fellows contribute to the School by working with faculty and MBA students on curricular and co-curricular activities. These include, but are not limited to, co-teaching course sessions in the elective curriculum, offering career counselling and development coaching, co-leading Short Intensive Programs (SIPs), and delivering workshop sessions. They also bring their expertise to the School’s HBS Online and Executive Education programs by collaborating with faculty in case development and other research projects. Fellow appointments range from a few months to one year and may be extended.

Truly, it is an honour and a privilege for me to take up this appointment as an HBS Executive Fellow and to share experiences. My primary focus will be on research, with some instruction and advisory/coaching for MBA students. I will be producing a unique, fascinating and exciting project, in collaboration with HBS faculty, during my time here.
