Movie producer Seun Egbegbe’s girlfriend, Onyenike has just put to bed. The lady shared the photo on her page and wrote:

“Alhamdulillah for our new born baby girl”.

The father of the baby, Egbegbe is still in prison after he was arrested for allegedly attempting to dupe BDC operators to the tune of 10 million Naira.

He is still in prison due to his inability to meet his bail conditions. He was arrested at Gbagada in Lagos on the 24th of February, shortly after he was arrested and disgraced for allegedly trying to steal over 9 iPhones in Computer village, Ikeja, Lagos.

Mother and baby are said to be doing well.

Always have an emergency number on speed dial .If possible activate voice control on your phone ,because you might not be able to move.

You should also have phone numbers of loved ones saved and on speed dial ,with easily identifiable names like “wife” and “mum” etc.

500 Quran Reciters Gathers To Pray For Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari

The Zamfara Government said on Tuesday it had assembled 500 reciters of the Holy Qur’an to offer special prayers for the well-being of President Muhammadu Buhari and the country.

Lawal Liman, the state’s Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, told NAN in Gusau, the state capital, that the Islamic scholars were drawn from the 14 local government areas of the state.

According to Mr. Liman, the reciters were brought together as part of activities lined up for the 2017 Democracy Day celebration in the state.

The commissioner said “all hands must be joined in prayers for the betterment of our nation.

“If the President, as the leader of Nigeria, is not well, then it becomes the concern of all Nigerians to know that his recovery is highly important to us as a people and as a nation.

“We have organised different prayer sessions throughout the state and we believe as Hafeez (memorizers of the Holy Qur’an) their prayers will be of immense benefit for our state, its leaders and people and the nation, especially the President, who is now on medical treatment in London.’’

He said the 500 Qur’an reciters who were hosted at the Gusau Central Mosque, recited the Holy Qur’an 100 times from Sunday night to Monday morning.

“Special prayers were also offered for God to continue to give him the wisdom he needs to take this nation to greater heights,’’ he added.

Kunle Afolayan About To Drop a New Movie Titled “Roti”

Following the success of Omugwo, award winning producer and director, Kunle Afolayan’s new movie Roti is set to hit the cinemas.

‘Roti’ which is being distributed by Blue Pictures was screened to the public for the first time as part of the Lagos@50 celebrations. It was screened to the media on Friday, 19 th May and will eventually make its cinema debut on
June 30 .

“Roti” follows the story of a young couple years after they lose their son, Roti, to a brief illness. The psychological limits and endurance of a couple are stretched after the wife, Diane, suddenly sees an exact replica of her dead son (five years after his death), walking leisurely home from a different school and living an entirely different life. The emotional ramifications of this experience becomes near damning. She initially receives the experience in wonder and hope of a reunited future with her dead son, but, after she discovers that the little boy Juwon is not a reincarnation of Roti, she is washed anew by grief and soon descends into depression and consequent hysteria. Her desperation spirals for the worst as the decision-making on her future with Juwon becomes rather irrational and reckless.

The movie stars Kunle Afolayan himself and Kate Henshaw as the grieving couple, Toyin Oshinaike, Fathia Balogun and Dari Afolayan.

A Kenyan Lawyer met with the shock of his life after he discovered a used condom inside a beer he was about to Drink.

For this, He is suing the East African Breweries, makers of Tusker beer to court recently over what he found in the bottle.
He accused the company of negligence and recklessness and then claimed that he was subject to an
“everlasting shock” as a result of the disturbing experience he had encountered.
He said:

"There was a party and I had bought five crates of the same brand of beer, several people in attendance were consuming their drinks. After serving them, I picked a bottle, opened it and began drinking. After the first sip, I realised the taste was extremely strange and the following encounter was nauseating because the bottle contained an unwrapped condom.”

“I suffered psychological torture, trauma, mental anguish, excessive sweating, severe headache, abdominal pains, abdominal rumbling and vomiting due to shock and anxiety after taking the beverage containing condom.”

With faith, I went back home without even seeing the surgeon, without going back to the hospital or the eye foundation, and before 7days ultimatum given to us for him to open his eyes, the eyes was healed and u can barely see anything on his face except u take a closer look. All I gave him was just antibiotics. Indeed GOD IS GOOD."

Kebbi State Police Arrested Suspected Armed Robbers

The Kebbi State Police Command have arrested members of two robbery gangs that had been terrorizing people living in Birnin Kebbi , Shanga and Yauri communities of the state and have been on the wanted list of the police.

Those arrested are Murtala Salisu, Salisu Auwalu all of Dala village at Shanga Local Government Area of the state.

Others are Bilyaminu Muhammed, Shuaibu Abubakar, Nura Altine and Habibu Umar.

Briefing newsmen in his office at the force headquarters at Gwadangwaji, Birnin Kebbi, the Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Kabiru said members of the armed bandits blocked the Shanga/ Yauri road and robbed two people. He added that upon tip off, the policemen from Shanga Division responded and arrested the suspected armed robbers.

In a related development, the police commissioner said the command also arrested suspected armed robbers, Abdullahi Kailu and Dauda Jibo in Kamba and another one, Zayyanu Dauda at Goru area of the state.
Kabiru called on the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious persons to the police.

Suspected Fraudster, Oladipo Adedokun Been Arrested By EFCC Over N69Million Fraud (See Photos)

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, May 22, 2017, arraigned a suspected fraudster, Oladipo Adedokun, alongside Lorient Habour Hotel Limited before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the State High Court, Ikeja, on a four-count charge bordering on issuance of dud cheques and obtaining money under false pretence to the tune of N69, 605,000.00 (Sixty-nine Million, Six Hundred and Five Thousand Naira).

One of the charges read:

“That you, Oladipo Tajudeen Adedokun and Lorient Habour Hotel Limited, on or about the 27th day of September, 2012, in Lagos within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court fraudulently obtained the sum of Sixty- nine Million, Six Hundred and Five Thousand Naira (N69, 605, 000.00) from the Nigeria Navy on the false representation that you had Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand US Dollar (10, 000 Pounds Sterling) to sell to the Nigeria Navy’’

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charges levelled against him.

Although the defendant was not represented by his counsel in court, Justice Ipaye ordered him to get in touch with his counsel in readiness for the continuation of trial.

Trial Of Airforce Guy Who Shot His Female Airfotce Lover (See Photos)

Nigerian Air Force has commenced the General Court Martial (GCM) trial of Aircraftman Kalu Bernard, who allegedly shot and killed Aircraftwoman, Oladipupo Sholape on 12 March 2017 at the NAF Base, Makurdi.


The court martial consists of a President and 6 other members in addition to a judge advocate and 2 waiting members. Present at the inauguration were also the convening officer, prosecuting officers, 2 defence counsels representing the accused, witnesses and some members of the Press.


The President of the GCM, Group Captain Elisha Philip Bindul, while inaugurating the military court at 101 Air Defence Group Makurdi, gave a comprehensive breakdown of the trial procedures as well as the rules and regulations to be observed during the trial.


The highlight of the trial was the reading of the charges levelled against the accused, Aircraftman Kalu Bernard and the plea by the Defence Counsel for time to study the charges and other documents. The GCM was subsequently adjourned to 2 June 2017 for further hearing on the case.

The inauguration of the court martial, which is part of the formal law chain in Military, is coming up after a series of procedures as enshrined in Armed Forces Act 105 of 1993 as amended.

The NAF is apparently poised to ensure that justice is served to all concerned parties in the matter.
