Check Out 9 Important Things You Must Be Careful of When You Are Feed Up of Your Marriage

When Marriage hurts, there is a high possibility of making mistakes that will make matters worse.

Emotion is high, depression is setting in, anger is deep and worry is overwhelming, that is the period when people make more terrible mistakes, saying terrible things, do negative things, hurt themselves and their loved ones.

This are the things you must never do, when your marriage is really hurting:

1. NEVER SEPARATE
Some couples erroneously think that it is better to “give a gap” when there is crisis’’ to make tempers cool down. But the truth is, the longer you separate from your spouse the more difficult it becomes to come together again. It even makes it easier for the devil to use you against each other. Avoid separation as much as possible. Stay in that marriage to make it work. {Malachi 2:14-16}

2. NEVER INVOLVE A THIRD PARTY
There is always the temptation to involve outsiders whenever there is a crisis at home. But most of the time, third parties are biased and may not say the truth. They may even have hidden agenda, or be experiencing something worse in their own marriage. Also, they may not be knowledgeable to handle a marital crisis. If you must involve the third party at all, let it be your pastor or a qualified marriage counselor. “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”. Gen.2:24. It’s better to involve professional, not pity party who will compound your issues.

3. NEVER GIVE UP
Don’t give up on your marriage; it is not yet over. Never say you have tried your best. Until your marriage becomes the best, you have not put in your best.

4. NO DIVORCE
It is a grave error to think that divorce is the best option for you under any circumstances. There is no happiness in divorce. Research has shown that many divorcees end up living sad and frustrated lives. Wisdom demands you don’t join them.

Never think of divorce; don’t even consider it as an option. Stay in that marriage to make it work. Don’t end that marriage at this point. Fight for your marriage, you will surely win.

5. DON’T GIVE-IN TO ALCOHOL OR DRUG
Lots of people do find solace in drugs and alcohol when their marriage hurts, making more mistakes in the process.
Engaging or saying wrong things under the influence of alcohol is very easy so, avoid these substances.

6. DON’T COMMIT SUICIDE
Life is more precious than marriage. Don’t kill yourself, it will be the greatest error of your life to kill yourself because of your marriage, your spouse will move on after your burial.

7. DON’T KEEP MALICE
Avoid keeping malice. Talk, you can’t solve the problem without talking, discuss it.

8. DON’T FIGHT DIRTY
Telling people about your spouse’s secrets, fighting openly, and cursing, destroying domestic properties are all dirty. Don’t do it.

9. DON’T SAY OR DO WHAT YOU WILL REGRET LATER: Talk less, don’t say or do what you will regret. Don’t speak out of anger, there is danger in anger. Be careful, do everything to solve the problem, don’t compound it.

Check Out This 7 Things To Do To Possibly Save Your Life During Accident

An auto crash is something no one wants to experience, sometimes its your fault and other times its not. There are steps to take to help prevent bad occurrences such as injuries and even worse.

Highlighted below are some tips to help you prevent injuries and death in case of accident;

1). Always Wear Your Seat Belt
his cannot be emphasized enough. Your seat belt is not just there to prevent LASTMA officials from flagging you down. Its also there for your safety.Wear it !

2). Keep Potential Flying Objects Safe
In the event of a collision or a roll over ,you wouldn’t want sharp objects or any object that could cause harm to you, flying around.

Keep objects you don’t use frequently in the boot. Keep your pen in the glove box.

3). Drive The Safest Car You Can Afford
A lot of people focus mainly on aesthetics and fuel economy of cars. Very little care about how safe the vehicle is
You should check crash tests and safety ratings of cars before buying them and buy the safest one you can afford. You should also check the safety features the car has before buying.

4). Don’t Over Speed.
This has been resounded over and over again ,but some people still feel they are James Bond.Even if the road is totally free, you should limit your speed ,just imagine a car coming into the road unexpectedly ,or an animal crossing the road unexpectedly while you are being fast and furious.

When you are not over speeding the force of impact would be less and injuries minimal.

5). Aim For An Object That Would Do Least Damage
In case you loose control ,probably when avoiding a Danfo Bus .Aim for an object that would do least damage, both to yourself and others .This is why you should always be alert and conscious of your environment.

6). Keep The Kids Strapped In Always
It really pisses me off when I see parents allow their kids play in cars while driving .

Some mothers even breast feed while driving !
Children are lighter than you are and can easily get thrown around when an accident occurs .So keep them buckled up always !.

7). Always Have Emergency Number On Speed Dial
Always have an emergency number on speed dial .If possible activate voice control on your phone ,because you might not be able to move.

You should also have phone numbers of loved ones saved and on speed dial ,with easily identifiable names like “wife” and “mum” etc.

Check Out This 5 Amazing Foods That Makes You Sleep Better

If you’re having trouble getting to bed or staying asleep, Jumia Travel helps you out by sharing 5 surprising foods that can help you sleep better.

1). Cereal
When this is eaten before bed, it can help you get better sleep. This is mainly because this food contains two main components for falling asleep: carbohydrates (from the cereal) and calcium (from the milk).

2). Rice
White rice especially, has a high glycemic index that makes eating it significantly slash the time it takes for you to fall asleep, which helps you fall asleep faster. This is why some people complain that after eating rice, they can’t help feeling sleepy or immediately falling asleep.

3). Honey
The natural sugar in honey slightly raises the insulin and allows tryptophan (an amino acid that helps induce a natural calming and sleep inducing effect) to enter the brain more easily. A spoonful of honey before bed can help to give you a more restful sleep.

4). Walnuts
Walnuts are another good source of tryptophan, the sleep-enhancing amino- acid that helps to make serotonin and melatonin, the ‘body clock’ hormone that sets up your sleep-wake cycles. In addition, walnut also contains its own source of melatonin, which in conjunction with the function of tryptophan can help you fall asleep faster.

5). Warm Milk
This tried and true sleep aid also contains tryptophan and is high in calcium; this contributes to its relaxing effect and ability to help you fall asleep faster.

Combining milk with carbohydrate rich foods like oatmeal, granola etc. makes its much more effective as a sleeping aid.

6 Reasons Why Humble People Do Receives Love

Have you ever wondered why humble people do receives love?.

There’s indeed something about them that’s truly very endearing. Today we shares 6 reasons why humble people do receives love.

(1). They are Rare
Too many people spend too much time declaring and trying to prove how unique they are, so when you meet a humble person it’s like a breath of fresh air. Humble people tend to stand out and be noticed without even trying, and because of this they also tend to be appreciated for their rare personality.

(2). They are Self-Less
Regardless of what we say, deep down we all like to be cared for, and this is what humble people do. When we are around them, they make us feel cared for because they often put others before themselves, and for this reason they tug at our hearts.

(3). They are Good Listeners
Because of how self-less humble people are, they tend to be very good listeners. When you talk to them or confide in them, they make you feel heard and valued. It’s a nice feeling. They are also hardly judgmental of others and are comfortable learning about others.

(4). They Admit Mistakes
Humble people are very teachable because they do not see themselves as perfect. They welcome avenues to learn and better themselves, and can find it within themselves to apologize for a wrong done without their egos being damaged. This makes them very likeable.

(5). They are Mature
We all know maturity is very endearing; it’s something that can hardly be explained but just is. Humble people are quite mature and hardly exhibit annoying childish behaviours, mainly because it takes a level of maturity to learn to be humble in the first place. For this reason, because of their endearing maturity, humble people are loved.

(6). They are Confident in an Admirable Way
Their confidence is not ‘in your face’ kind of confidence; it’s a subtle kind that might initially even be mistaken for timidity until you get to know them. They are typically assertive people but they have somehow found a way to be assertive in a non-offensive way. Also, because of how confident and secure they are, people tend to feel good and thrive around them because they allow others excel and shine in their midst. People typically feel appreciated around them.

Simple Answer To Enjoy Marriage

Many of the 'relationship experts' out there teaches what they're struggling to practice in their own homes and not what nature and the word of God designed marriage to be.

If you go into marriage with the mentality of you and your husband are equal and you want to be competing for equal right, you might just be creating unhappiness for yourself.

Marry a man you love enough to be submissive to, ignore the acts some people are exhibiting on social media today. Your goal should be to have rest of mind and enjoy your marriage.

Some whites have taken equality to such ridiculous level that they now have OPEN MARRIAGE where husband is free to sleep with other women and wife is free to sleep with other men. After all "we are equal and anyone can do whatever he/she likes".

Don't allow yourself to be confused by free-thinkers. Live a decent life for your own good.

Good People, Great Nation, Seriously Nigeria’s Got Brains

Success has different meanings and can be measured with different yardsticks. In the era of Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, success was measured by value and the impact made in people’s lives. Then, dignity was not measured based on university degrees, political position, or bank accounts balances but by impact!

For Nigeria, with a population of over 180 million citizens and blessed not only with minerals but human capital resources, success can either be subjective or objective.

The greatest success from Nigeria is not just with the mineral resources that have brought about foreign earnings which have bred corruption and widened the poverty gap, but exportation of brains (professionals) that are helping to develop other parts of the world.

Such brains that have come out of Nigeria are innumerable and could have been of use better than our abundant mineral resources. These brains are not the celebrities produced from Naija’s Got Talents but the intellectuals and innovators transforming the world while Nigeria languishes from a harsh environment that discourage such great brains.

Imagine what would have become of Nigeria if the likes of Saheed Adepoju (co-founder of Encipher Limited), Seyi Oyesola (co-invention of CompactOR), Jelani Aliyu (credited with designing General Motors’ leading auto brand, Chevrolet Volt), Ndubuisi Ekekwe (credited with developing microchips used in minimally invasive surgical robots), Col. Oviemo Ovadje (Rtd) (credited with the invention of the Emergency Auto Transfusion System (EAT-SET)), Cyprian Emeka Uzoh (who holds more than 126 United States issued patents and over 160 patents worldwide), Kunle Olukotun (who developed one of the first chip multiprocessors), Sebastine Chinonye Omeh (known for using wind-propelled turbines to generate electricity), Shehu Saleh Balami (credited with designing a solid-fuel rocket), Yemi Adesokan (whose discovery work on drug-resistant infections is groundbreaking), Ume Ifeanyi Charles (credited with five inventions), Aloysius Anaebonam (who holds about 12 U.S. patents), Mohammed Bah Abbah (credited with a refrigerating device that does not use electricity), Olu Atanda (credited with the co-invention of a self-lubricating layer for a data-storage device and disk), Brino Gilbert (credited with the invention of the Counter Collision Gadget (CCG)), Emeka Nchekwube (credited with various co-inventions), among several others.

Just imagine they were in Nigeria and allowed to thrive... Just imagine...

With the expectation of a few Nigerians who choose to remain, endure the economic and political challenges, and confront the environmental demons to birth new ideas even when the survival of such ideas is dicey. Heroes are not just people who can succeed in a good environment but people we have stood the test of time to birth solutions and innovations that can help the nation to immensely advance.

Thinking of some names already? Well, anyone can be like Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga Jnr., Femi Otedola, Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu, Fola Adeola, Atiku Abubakar, TY Danjuma and co. All you need apart from the business courage are political and financial connections, family inheritance, and belonging to certain caucus (such as Ikoyi Club, Yoruba Tennis Club & etc). Beyond all these people you term “successful”, the real guys are those who can still innovate without access to those factors and have been able to rebrand this nation.

Several of those guys with guts that have stood the test of time without “connections” and have helped to end national disgrace include the Late Mrs. Florence Seriki (founder of Omatek computer – the first factory to locally assemble computers), Sim Shagaya (founder and C.E.O of one of West Africa's largest electronic commerce website, Konga.com), Chude Jideonwo & Adebola Williams (co-founders of Red Media Africa), Late Dr. Yombo Awojobi (renowned leading rural surgeon) and lest I forget, John Obaro (a man that has helped to change the course of public sector finance in Nigeria).

Who is John Obaro? He is a man who took the bold steps 25 years ago when others were taking to their heels seeking greener pastures abroad. He refused to give up in the face of several challenges including those that caused other businesses to park up. He is the founder of SystemSpecs, owners of Remita, the electronic payment solution connected to multiple electronic payment channels (including Internet Banking, POS, Bank Branches, ATM Cards, Direct Debit/Standing Order, Mobile, etc.) and has transformed finance management in Nigeria.

Today, the use of Remita for the facilitation of Treasury Single Account (TSA) of the Federal Government of Nigeria has solved Nigeria’s prolonged cash management and revenue leakages challenges. Obaro’s company, SystemSpecs, an indigenous organisation with 100% Nigerian workforce has won several laurels, in and outside Nigeria, for its accomplishments.

Acccording to the Mr Ahmed Idris, Accountant General of the Federation (AGF): “If not because TSA is in place, now that recession is here, only God knows what would have happened. A monthly drain of over N4 billion and yet no revenue coming in and leakages [would have] continued.”

It is such men as John Tanimola Obaro who should be celebrated and encouraged to continue to promote the image of this nation for the world to know that indeed Nigeria has got brains, and that many good things can come out of Nigeria.
