According to reports, The lawmaker is currently representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency in the House of Representatives and very popular in the scheme of things in Ibadan politics.
One of his aides told TheCable that he was shot in the face and has been rushed to the Accident and Emergency centre in University College Hospital(UCH), Ibadan.
In October, Hon. Olatoye Temitope representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency of Oyo State dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the Action Democratic Party (ADP). He obtained the party’s form for Oyo Central Senatorial district but was defeated at the poll during last National Assembly elections.
This is coming just as results of Saturday’s gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections are being announce across poliing units in the state.
