UPDATE! Nigeria’s Debt Hit N31 Trillion Naira

Nigeria-Debt-Hit-N31-Trillion-Naira-Teelamford
The Debt Management Office on Wednesday released Nigeria’s total public debt stock as of June 30, 2020, and put the country’s entire debt at N31trn, indicating an increase of N2.38trn within a space of three months.

Nigeria’s total public debt stock includes the debt stock of the Federal Government, the 36 states, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Just as the country’s public debt stock, the DMO also released reports on Nigeria’s Actual External Debt Service Payments in Second Quarter, 2020, as well as Nigeria’s External Debt Stock as of June 30, 2020.

For the country’s public debt stock as of June 30, 2020, the DMO said, “The data shows that in naira terms, the total public debt stock which comprises the debt stock of the Federal Government, the 36 state governments and the FCT stood at N31.009trn or $85.897bn.

The debt office explained that the increase in the debt stock by N2.381trn or $6.593bn was accounted for by the $3.36bn budget support loan from the International Monetary Fund, new domestic borrowing to finance the revised 2020 Appropriation Act.

It said this includes the issuance of the N162.557bn Sukuk, and promissory notes issued to settle claims of exporters.

‘Now I Know How it Feels For you, Forgive me’ – Uti Nwachukwu Publicly Apology to Tacha

Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu has penned a long note of apology to BBNaija season 4 star, Tacha and her passionate fans.

Uti who was one of the many that ran Tacha down when she was disqualified from the season 4 of the reality show was on, has taken to his Instagram page to rendered his heartfelt apology to former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha for his actions.

Uti’s disposition comes after 2020 BBNaija housemate, Erica Nweledim was disqualified from the house over various misconduct amid defiance of house rules and this has sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Uti apologized to Tacha for using harsh and mean words on her although her fans provoked him because they were upset.

According to the Delta State-born actor and Master of Ceremony, he now understands what Tacha went through some time ago after her disqualification.

His letter cited on Kemi Filani news reads,

” “You will never understand till it happens to you” – popular saying

•I will never be too proud to acknowledge my personal epiphanies and when it’s time to actually obey ur conscience which I always say is your spirit. Call it karma call it a wake up call. But you always have to listen to that voice inside

•Recent events have triggered memories from last year’s #bbnaija When another housemate was disqualified.

Let’s just say, now I know how it feels for her and her fans.•

Most importantly, I am deeply regretful for the harsh words I tweeted when I felt provoked by her passionate FANS who were upset

•It was not fair to her as she had PERSONALLY not done anything to ME. My reactions to the insults were totally wrong and not inspired from a place of Love which I always champion.

How others treat us is no fault of ours. But how we respond/ REACT is fully up to us. •

An eye for an eye leaves the world Blind (I’m still learning this one sha cos sometimes the spirit of Gbas gbos is tooo strong lol)

I’m also someone that says, don’t insult me in public and then come and apologise privately.

So symply_tacha I am extremely sorry for the mean tweets I responded with last year.

Please accept my deepest apologies.

I can’t imagine what you must have gone thru and still go thru on a daily basis. All I can say is your tenacity is admirable

To the Titans.

Na Una come for me o! Lol *jokes*.I whole heartedly forgive you all for any and everything u guys said or did. But more than anything else, I am also sorry for the way I addressed you guys. Our fight don reach one year o lol. So make we hug an out.

•I am officially extending the olive branch to you guys and saying I am sorry.Trust me when I say I NOW KNOW HOW U GUYS FELT and FEEL.

I’m not justifying anything from anyone but as Public Personalities we have to actually practice what we preach and tho we may fall a few times, we owe it to our followers to get up and inspire them by doing the right thing•

Let love TRULY lead. And let’s be compassionate.

As Ephesians 4:31-32 says : Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Davido Revealed Don Jazzy and D’Banj Inspired Him to go Into Music

Well known Nigerian singer and label record owner, David Adedeji Adeleke, Davido, has revealed that Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and D’banj inspired him to go into music.

The star who is also a father of three children made this known in a recent Instagram Live chat with Grammy Museum.

According to him, “Coming from Atlanta and just hanging around them inspired him.

“I remember seeing them with Jay-Z and Kanye West in a room and honestly, they had a lot to do with me wanting to do music even though my father has also been a mentor.”

“In the early stage of my career, I was like a one-man-band. I made the beat for the first single, and equally recorded the song myself.

“I mixed and mastered Dami Duro myself. When I was getting bigger, I could no longer do everything myself.

“Now, I have producers and songwriters who I work with. I now believe in collective efforts.

“The business side of everything is important. Music is just about 30 or 40 per cent,” he said.

He further stated that Going back to school helped him to concentrate, adding that it was something he also had to do for his father.

“It wasn’t that I wanted to rebel. I was just in love with music.

“I could not concentrate on something else.

“I was slacking in school and other things I wasn’t supposed to slack in because of my love for music.

“I had to fight for it. It’s what I knew I was destined to do.

“I was learning how to record, so I was slacking in other things. Music took over me,” he added.
