Vicki Royce Ariya. After so much anticipation, Kingmakers Entertainment finally releases its artiste’s first official single ‘Ariya‘. So much buzz about the artiste Vicki Royce, (born Victoria Kehinde Bandele 25 years ago)has been going on around the Nigerian music circuit and the time has come for her to stake a claim for a spot among the African music elite.

The story has been told about how she got a record deal with just a 30 second freestyle for the label’s execs. They were sold about her quality and now they want the world to get a feel of what she has to offer. With a beautiful voice and great songwriting skills, we daresay she’s one to look out for. The visuals for ‘Ariya’ will also be out soon, directed by Director Uche of Campfire Films.

Vicki Royce came to our attention when she made the Top 10 of Adekunle Gold’s ‘Ire’ challenge. Her version of the song got Mr Gold exclaiming on Instagram so we had to check it out and yes, it was dope. ‘Ariya’ is basically a laid back, “feel good and party” track that should have DJs bumping it in clubs and parties.

Highly recommended.

Expect more good stuff from Vicki Royce this year, cos as she and her label say “we just getting started”.

Bad Atmosphere! Rains of Gunshots Again in Poly Ibadan (Photos)

There were rains of Gunshots in The Polytechnic of Ibadan yesterday Wednesday 7th May, 2019 as some unknown men disrupted the peace at the South Campus entrance of the institution.

The incident occurred in the evening at around 4pm where various properties were damaged.

According to an eye witness:

"Those people were 3, 2 holding guns and 1 holding axe, they were in blue top and black beret. When they came, the security men manning the gate ran for there life's as they are shooting in the air and destroying properties. The perpetrators of the act has left Before the security operative could reach the scene"
