Nigerian Woman Caught With 1.6kg Cocaine Been Arrested By NDLEA
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 57-year-old grandmother, Omolara Morayo Odeyemi, with cocaine at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on her way to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
NDLEA said the suspect, a textile merchant at the Balogun Market in Lagos, who claimed to be going on a pilgrimage had all the paraphernalia of a pilgrim “save for the narcotic content in her luggage.”
The Head, Public Affairs, NDLEA, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, in a statement on Saturday, quoted the agency’s commander at the airport, Mr. Ahmadu Garba, as saying that two parcels of white powdery substance, which tested positive to cocaine, were “carefully” concealed inside her luggage.

Chocolate City Group boss, Audu Maikori, who was rearrested in Abuja last week for alleged incitement and spreading fake information is reportedly being held at the Gabasawa Police Station, Kaduna State where he's said to be sharing same cell with arrested herdsmen, this is according to a report by Punch.
Maikori, who collapsed last week during a Q&A session at Muson Centre, will be charged to court on Monday in a case being handled by the Attorney General of Kaduna State. According to the report, his family and friends were barred from seeing him.

Man Got Caught as He Tried to Smuggle Ten Pounds of Cocaine Into America (See Photo)
US Citizen Juan Carlos Galan Luperon must have thought he had discovered the ultimate smuggler's trick when he decided to sneak ten pounds of cocaine into the country disguised as part of his clothing. Luperon who was returning to the US from the Dominican Republic via John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York wrapped the drugs worth $164,000 around his legs and wore his trousers over them.
US Customs and Border Protection said Luperon was nervous and 'bursting out of his pants,' which 'appeared to be rather snug.'
He was taken to a private search room where the packages taped to his body almost looked like leg casts.
Luperon could be charged on the federal level with smuggling charges and will be prosecuted by New York's US Attorney office.

Miss Tourism Says She Saw Death In AirPeace Flight That Nearly Crashed
Nigeria's Miss Tourism and South-South Queen 2016, Ms. Faithfulness Kennedy, has recounted a near air-crash experience she allegedly had, while aboard an Air-Peace flight on Friday.
The beauty queen who revealed that she was on the flight bound for Lagos from Abuja, further alleged that the 45minutes flight to Lagos took them 2hrs 30minutes.

"Oh Lord how Merciful and Kind you are.... today I saw Death Looking at me.. but God4bid.
I hear plane crash stories but today I experienced something.
That's how my flight was shifted from 1pm to 3pm, we all boarded.. and after all protocols observed we took off.. y'all know it's 45minutes to Lagos? But today we spent 2hours 30minutes.. I won't be in church on Sunday to give this testimony but please y'all help me thank God ... I beg you...
It started raining heavily ... and suddenly became dark and cloudy .. the pilot couldn't see again .. the speed increased, the turbulence worsened .. the plane began to shake .. heavily .. we went up high.. came down, went up again. For exactly 10times... the plane almost turned 360 it's just God I didn't know when I started crying .. I almost turned on my phone to tell my mum that is time for me to die. but I realized it will worsen the situation.. so I prayed in my heart and this was my prayer.
"Lord you know I'm destined for greatness, you said in Jeremiah that the thoughts you have of me are good and not evil, is this how u meant it?, if truly I have an unfinished business on earth and I'm going to be a great person don't allow this plane crash".
I closed my eyes so tight with tears the pregnant woman beside me said she feels her baby is coming out.. I got scared and I told her not to panic too much ... finally with the whole speed and all the traumas, we got to Lagos .. after 2hours 30minutes... on my knees I say God thank You."
